Spreading awareness about the importance of preventive healthcare, AIG hospitals held an exclusive preventive healthcare camp for the Movie Artistes' Association (MAA) members on Sunday, 15th of May. As part of the camp, essential blood tests and medical imaging tests were done for screening and diagnosing silent diseases at early stages, which was followed by expert doctor consultations. Speaking about the importance of preventive healthcare, our Chairman Dr. D Nageshwar Reddy said “Especially in today’s world when lifestyle-related diseases are becoming very common, preventive health has become extremely important to identify diseases in their early stages, making treatment much easier when compared to treating diseases in their severe/advanced stages.” Over 200 members from MAA, including prominent actor and president of MAA, Vishnu Manchu, actors Shiva Balaji, Naresh, and others availed the benefits of this free preventive health-check camp at AIG hospitals. “We are glad to give back to the MAA members in the form of this preventive health check, for keeping us constantly entertained even through the toughest pandemic times, and they deserve to be looked after,” Dr. D. Nageshwar Reddy added. Vishnu Manchu, president of MAA appreciated the level of care and affection provided by our Chairman Dr. D. Nageshwar Reddy to all the film fraternity members. “We thank you very much and hope to continue these preventive health check-ups every year with AIG hospitals,” he added.
