Department of Anaesthesia, Peri-Operative Medicine & Critical Care at AIG hospitals is a vibrant team of specialists in anaesthesia, pain medicine & Critical Care. The team provides comprehensive care for their patients undergoing complex surgeries with a seamless care right from pre-operative assessment & optimization, multidisciplinary liaising, intraoperative anaesthetic care and post-surgical critical care. 

The team has developed their own audited and peer reviewed clinical pathways for enhancing peri-operative outcomes and patient satisfaction. 

Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Regional Anaesthesia:

Following anaesthesia services are provided by the team: 

• Upgraded PAC clinic from 8am to 8pm Monday to Saturday. Also facilitates bedside assessment for the needy. 
• 24 X 7 Surgical Critical Care Support  
• 24 X 7 Acute pain services in ICUs and HDUs. 
• “On-Arrival Pain Blocks” for patients coming with polytrauma / fractures 
• Clinical audit programmes, Dashboard data analytics and Academic courses & Webinars regularly.
