Department of Paediatrics

At AIG, our paediatric department provides specialized healthcare for children with a highly experienced, empathetic and dedicated team of doctors specialized in this field. We have a good team of pediatricians, who have extensive knowledge and experience to take care of children from when they are babies to adolescents. The Childcare team at AIG provides comprehensive medical treatment for children up to the age of 18 years. At our state-of-the-art AIG Hospitals, the paediatric doctors are available to see patients in the outpatient clinics for all common and complex/rare medical conditions of children. Our paediatricians advise vaccination schedules for babies, new-born baby care, information about growth and development of children and nutrition needs of children are given to the parents of the children. They deliver care in the inpatient setting and also provide round the clock services, by supporting and teaming up with other specialists on inter-disciplinary rounds.

Department of Paediatric Critical Care

Medicine We have Paediatric intensivists (Paediatric Critical Care physicians) who are trained in prestigious institutes to deliver advanced care such as ventilation, dialysis, hemodynamic monitoring (BP, Heart rate, cardiac output), tracheostomy and other life-sustaining procedures. We take care of critically ill children, who require monitoring for various severe diseases like Severe Dengue, Severe pneumonia, Diabetic ketoacidosis etc. We provide stabilization and immediate definitive care to the most severely injured children. We perform Point of Care Ultrasound and 2D echo for evaluation and monitoring PICU patients. We also provide paediatric trauma care services with multidisciplinary support from Paediatric Surgery, Neurosurgery and Orthopaedics. We are equipped with latest technologies along with paediatric critical care and super specialist doctors to provide your children with the best clinical services at all times. We have an experienced team of intensivists, specialized nurses and other support staff, working in coordination with other allied specialists such as cardiologists, gastroenterologists, pulmonologists, nephrologists, neurologists etc., providing the best possible care to a seriously ill child.
