Dr Ravi Komalla qualified for MD Pediatrics from Gandhi Medical College & subsequently completed his Fellowship In Pediatric Critical Care (IDPCCM) from Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Bangalore.

He is the Head of Department – Pediatrics & Critical Care at AIG Hospitals with a vast experience of more than 14 years in the field of Pediatrics & Pediatric Critical Care.

His expertise lies in managing tertiary care pediatric emergencies including Respiratory Diseases, Complex Cardiac Cases (Including post operative cases), Life threatening Intoxications & Trauma cases as well . He has managed patients of all ages ranging from sick neonates to older post transplant or neurosurgical patients with multi organ dysfunction. He is well versed in Advanced Ventilatory techniques , Renal Replacement Therapy (Dialysis) & is familiar with use of support devices like Temporary Cardiac Pacing etc. He was Faculty at a Workshop for hand on training in Pedaitric Invasive procedures held under the aegis of Critical Care society & conducted at Star Hospital Hyderabad. He is an excellent teacher & goes the extra mile to familiarize junior doctors as well as para medical staff in the finer nuances of pediatric critical care.

He has been trained in Point of care Ultrasound , Bedside Echocardiography & Transplant Critical Care. His goal is to design an individual plan to help each & every patient achieve the best possible outcome. He is an active member of the Paeditric critical care Society & is involved in their Teaching & Training programmes.
