This area of speciality deals with procedures done for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes to diagnose and treat all kinds of lung and pleural disorders. The Department of Pulmonology at AIG Hospitals is equipped with advanced bronchoscopy and Thoracoscopy suite rooms. The procedures done are Flexible fibreoptic bronchoscopy [diagnostic and therapeutic], Rigid bronchoscopy guided tumour debulking with Cryotherapy, Electrocautery, APC and Airway stenting, balloon dilatation of airway stenosis, foreign body removals, Endobronchial ultrasound guided TBNA, Radial Ebus guided needle aspirations and biopsy, Medical thoracoscopy.
