Professional Synopsis:

Dr. Chaitanya Koduri, DM in Neurology from Guntur Medical College, Guntur and attained Speciality Certificate in Neurology from Royal College of Physicians UK. After a few years of neurology practice at AIG hospitals he went on a sabbatical to peruse his passion in the field of stroke and neurovascular interventions.

 

He got trained under Prof. Shakir Hussain who is one of the pioneers in the field of neurointerventions. He further perused international training fellowships at Vall D’Hebron university hospitals, Barcelona, Spain; University hospitals, Zurich, Switzerland and Boston Childrens hospital, Boston, USA for various advances treatments of stroke, intra cranial and spinal embolizations and paediatric neurointerventions.

 

He took utmost interest in establishing a neuro Cath lab at AIG hospitals and in initiating an exclusive stroke and neurovascular service at AIG. He is currently the clinical lead of Stroke and Endovascular Neurointervention service at AIG hospitals.

 

He has a strong inter-disciplinary training background, rich clinical and technical expertise in treating patients, international associations and well informed about recent advances in neurology.
