Professional Synopsis:

Dr. Vamsidhar Veeranki is an experienced nephrologist with over 6 years of expertise in nephrology and renal transplantation, having managed more than 700 kidney transplant cases. He completed his medical graduation from Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, followed by his MD in Internal Medicine from JIPMER, Puducherry, where he was awarded the prestigious Gold Medal for academic excellence. He subsequently pursued his DM in Nephrology from SGPGIMS, Lucknow, one of India’s premier nephrology training centers.

 

He served as Assistant Professor in the Department of Nephrology at SGPGIMS, Lucknow, from 2022 to 2024, and developed a novel non-invasive tool to predict non-diabetic kidney disease in diabetic patients with kidney dysfunction, for which he received the prestigious Tanker Memorial Award from the Indian Society of Nephrology in 2022. He later worked as Consultant Nephrologist at Medanta Hospital, Lucknow, contributing to the development of transplant care protocols.
