Dr. Sridhar Dasu is well known in the surgical oncology fraternity for his dynamism and enthusiasm. This along with empathy towards his fellow peers and patients has garnered him high praise during his professional career. He completed his MBBS training from Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College in Kolar, Karnataka in 2008 following which he placed in the top 50 in the combined Andhra Pradesh APPG Entrance exam. He secured MS General Surgery in Government Medical College Guntur in 2009 which he completed with distinction in 2012 and then worked as a senior registrar in the Department of Surgical oncology at Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer hospital for a period of 6 months. He then secured an Mch Surgical Oncology seat in the prestigious Regional Cancer institute, Trivandrum which he completed in 2016. During this tenure he has won numerous awards including The Best Paper Award -State chapter at the ASICON 2015 held at Hyderabad and Best Poster Award at the Midterm IASO NATCON held at Bhopal. He has worked as a super speciality registrar in MNJ cancer hospital from 2016 to 2017 as part of compulsory government service.

He worked at an Indo-American Cancer Hospital from 2017 to 2020 prior to joining AIG Hospitals.

Dr. Sridhar specialises in minimally invasive oncological procedures including laparoscopic colorectal, oesophageal and gynaecological surgeries. His fields of interest also include head and neck and breast cancers and he is trained in the latest techniques of oncoplasty and head and neck reconstruction.
