Professional Synopsis:

Dr. Shakti is a dynamic liver transplant anesthesiologist with experience in more than 500 successful liver transplants and more than 1000 hepatobiliary cases. He has got vast expertise in dealing with sick and critical cirrhotic patients and managing them well to send them back home healthy. He is well versed in dealing with more than 700 cases of patients undergoing complex robotic surgeries. Dr. Swaroop has also been associated with many successful liver transplantations in different countries like Myanmar, Bangladesh and Uzbekistan. Dr. Swaroop has been a key member and has been instrumental in 1st ever liver transplants in Madhya Pradesh (Bhopal & Indore), Chhattisgarh (Raipur), and North-eastern states of India (Guwahati) and at Odisha (Bhubaneswar) and in setting up liver transplant centres in these states. He has been instrumental in postoperative critical care of the patients in the various centres in the country and abroad.

Dr. Shakti Swaroop is one of the few anaesthesiologists in India who has anaesthetised patients for Liver transplant, Heart transplant, Kidney transplant, Pancreas transplant as well as multi-organ transplants, such as combined liver-kidney transplant, combined pancreas- kidney transplant, combined heart-lung transplant.
