Dr. Vijaya Kumar started his career in Liver transplant Anesthesia at Yashoda Hospital Secunderabad as a registrar and then continued as Associate Consultant.

Currently, he is working as an Associate Consultant in liver transplant anaesthesia at AIG Hospital Gachibowli. He is well-versed in Managing Liver transplants anaesthesia and Preoperative, Post-operative care in ICU.

He has almost performed over 100 Liver transplants and involved in more than 200 liver transplants.

He has also experience in managing Pediatric and Adult Liver transplants, Living donor liver transplant, Cadaveric Donor Liver Transplant, Emergency liver transplants and also in norm thermic Machine perfusion of the Donor’s liver.

He has been involved in Anaesthetic Management of Surgical Gastroenterology, Onco-surgeries, endoscopies, robotic surgeries, lung surgeries.

Dr. Vijay Kumar is also skilled in managing independently Pediatric and Adult liver transplant Anaesthesia and preoperative and post-operative care in ICU.
