Dr J. Mohan Roop worked as Consultant and Head, Department of Nuclear Medicine in American Oncology Institute, Hyderabad from July 14 to Jan 18.

Dr J. Mohan Roop is one of the best nuclear medical physicians in Hyderabad, possessing an extensive knowledge and experience in his field. Currently, he is working as Associate Director of Department of Nuclear Medicine, at AIG Hospitals, Hyderabad.

 

He graduated from the Kurnool Medical College, Kurnool. He received postgraduate training in Nuclear Medicine from the prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. Since then he has been adding new horizons to his career pursuing fellowships from renowned societies abroad as one of the successful nuclear medicine physician and being an important part of various hospitals and organizations Pan-India.

 

Among his achievements, to mention one example is, establishment of Department of Nuclear Medicine at AIG hospitals which is a state of the art centre providing comprehensive nuclear medicine services all under one roof. One of the proficient and one among the top nuclear medicine physician in Hyderabad, he holds special expertise in efficiently treating patients with neuroendocrine and prostate cancers. He is one of the very few nuclear medicine physicians who does PET/CT guided biopsy procedures.

 

Dr J. Mohan Roop has more than 14 years of experience, published articles in leading Oncology Journals and has a good academic record all throughout his career. He has personally presented many scientific papers, posters and interesting cases at various State, National and International Nuclear medicine conferences. Dr J. Mohan Roop has also took training in Good Clinical Practices (GCP).
