Dr. Nishanth Vundela is a consultant pulmonologist at AIG hospitals, with great exposure in the fields of clinical and interventional pulmonology. He completed his MBBS from Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences, Bengaluru in 2012 and postgraduation from Mediciti Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad in 2016. He secured the 5th rank in the pulmonology postgraduate examination for the combined state. He also completed his diploma in infectious diseases from the University of New South Wales, Australia in the year 2017.

He is a member of the Indian Chest Society, European Respiratory Society, American College of Chest Physicians, and is trained in advanced interventional pulmonology, including rigid bronchoscopy, thoracoscopy, EBUS-TBNA, flexible bronchoscopy, cryolung biopsy, pediatric bronchoscopy, and tracheal stent placements. He has a special interest in the management of pleural disease, bronchial asthma, COPD, interstitial lung diseases, undiagnosed cough, lung cancer, obstructive sleep apnea, and respiratory disorders in pregnancy along with several publications in various fields of pulmonology.
