Dr. Akshay Parikh is a Consultant Rheumatologist at AIG Hospitals in Hyderabad. Recognized for his empathetic and patient-centered approach, Dr. Parikh aims to empower patients with knowledge and support, ensuring they lead fulfilling lives.

In terms of education, Dr. Parikh earned his MBBS degree from Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, and his MD in General Medicine from Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad. Notably, he secured an all-India 2nd rank in NEET-SS 2018. He further specialized in Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology with a DM degree from NIMS, Hyderabad, where he also served as an Assistant Professor for two years.

He has a special interest in rheumatoid arthritis, SLE, myositis, vasculitis and ankylosing spondylitis.  Dr. Parikh is dedicated to leveraging advanced therapeutic approaches to improve patient outcomes.
