Professional Synopsis:

Dr.Abhirama Chandra Gabbita managed wards with over 50 inpatients throughout the year in the Neurosurgical department with both day and night calls and running of outpatient clinics. He also assisted in neurosurgery theatre for about 700 cases of trauma, vascular, Neuro oncology, Neuro endoscopy, pediatric neurosurgery, spine, functional neurosurgery, and well versed with intra operative neuro monitoring, neuro navigation, Digital subtraction angiography.

Done about 200 cases of acute, chronic SDH, extradural hematomas, contusions, decompression for infarcts, meningiomas, gliomas, EDAMS, cervical discectomy and fusion, lumbar discectomy, lumbar decompression, pedicle screw placement in thoracic and lumbar spine, cranioplasty individually under supervision.

Dr.Abhiram single handely managed 25 bedded neuro ICU, well versed with emergency intubation, ventilation, EVD placement, ICP monitoring, performed about 50 cases of open and percutaneous tracheostomy, Decanulation
