Description

  1. Planning menu for a general diet and reviewing it every 3 months
  2. Collaborating in the purchase of food supplies and kitchen equipment
  3. Collect diet order sheet
  4. Checks diet order sheet with the diet supply sheet
  5. Checks case sheet for doctors’ orders and patient reports
  6. Conducts patient rounds
  7. Ensures all the patients have been visited by dieticians
  8. Planning day to day special diets, gastric gavages and for new admissions
  9. Copy of diet plan to be kept in the case sheet
  10. Assessing and planning tube feeding for critical care patients at regular intervals
  11. Records the changes, admissions, discharges in the diet order sheet
  12. Submits the completed diet order sheet to the kitchen supervisor
  13. Supervising preparation and packing of foods
  14. Ensures that meals are attractively and promptly served
  15. Tastes food before serving and give feedback
