We run Emergency Medicine Residency Training programmes for MBBS graduates to farther their career into EM by upskilling them and help develop their clinical competency by caring for diverse patient populations coming to AIG Hospitals. They get the opportunity to pursue interests in clinical and didactic teaching, administration, professional behaviour, out of hospital transport, EMS, basic science resuscitation research in a strong academic setting. They are trained to handle and evaluated emergency patients and initiated emergency procedures, perform diagnostic tests and provided appropriate medical care to patients. They also manage a caseload of patients and then refer them to specialists for advanced treatment. Trainees are taught to prepare and maintain accurate patient documents and data in the HIS system.
