AIG Hospitals Celebrates International Women’s Day

Saluting the efforts of Women Healthcare staff during the pandemic, the AIG Hospitals felicitated the women workforce on the occasion of Women’s Day i.e 8th March 2021 Monday. Chairman of AIG Hospitals Dr. Nageshwar Reddy said that this day was to acknowledge hard work, the sacrifices, and the talent successful women had. It was indeed a great pleasure for us to have Capt. Ajmeera Bobby who graced this occasion shared her struggles and also her life experience. Capt. Ajmeera Bobby has become the first woman from the Banjara tribe to become a commercial pilot. Sreesha Merla, a member of the National Companies Law Appellate Tribunal, saluted the woman. We also had Guests from FICCI Ms. Anju Poddar, Ms. Rekha Lakhotia-Former Chairperson of FICCI, Ms. Sarita-committee member of FICCI, Ms. Swathi Sahil- Owner of Concu bakery. Apart from the recognition, the hospital group also encouraged women to lead healthy lives. “I want to tell all my women staff that we are here for you. There would be gender disparities to fight, but we have to carry forward the work”, said Dr. Carol Ann Reddy, Dermatologist.
