Professional Synopsis:

Dr.Shahbaz Hassan is skilled in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care. He is proficient in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation and can perform cervical spine immobilization with stabilization of airway and Airway skills including endotracheal intubation and supraglottic devices efficiently.

He has assisted in a reliable number of tracheostomies and has performed Emergent cricothyroidotomy and emergency procedures independently namely tube Thoracotomy, pericardiocentesis, and transvenous pacing on regular basis.

Dr.Shahbaz is expertise in invasive lines and monitoring via central lines and arterial lines. He is having sound knowledge about conventional modes and strategies of mechanical ventilation. expertise in Pain and palliative care in Emergency room.

Areas of Expertise:

• BLS, ACLS, ATLS protocols.
• 2D-Echocardiography, Bedside emergency ultrasonography, FAST/e-FAST scan.
• Management Of Medical and Surgical Emergencies including Toxicology
• Handling of Medico-legal cases in accident and trauma cases.
• Counselling of patients and attendees
