Dr. Karthik Mikkineni is Distinguished Faculty of the world renowned Stanford University School of Medicine, Division of Vascular surgery where he specializes in vascular disease management including aortic disease with international recognition in fenestrated and branched endografts in management of aortic and thoracic aneurysms, critical limb ischemia – limb salvage, management of carotid disease, thoracic outlet syndrome and mesenteric ischemia.
Dr. Karthik Mikkineni graduated as the Chief resident of the Integrated Vascular Surgery Residency program from Temple and Drexel University, Pittsburgh and has completed his internship at New York – Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell Medical Center, New York, USA and his Medical Degree from Guntur Medical College. He has remarkable academic and clinical productivity involving new and dramatically improved techniques for the diagnosis and treatment of vascular disease with grants from NIH and AHA. He holds key leadership positions at Stanford University School of Medicine as the ranking member of the MD and fellowship admissions committees.
