Dr. Arjun has completed his formal training in MD Radiology in 2016 followed by a stint as a visiting fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital (Harvard University) in 2017. He completed his speciality training as a fellow in vascular and interventional radiology (IR) at the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology.
He currently works as a consultant interventional radiologist at AIG Hospitals. His interest areas include Complex GI embolizations, Image-guided tumor ablations, Transarterial chemoembolization, Transarterial radioembolizations, and Newer minimally invasive therapies like Prostatic artery embolization and Advanced image-guided prostate cancer detection.
He also has a special interest in the field of MRI-guided prostate biopsy for which he underwent a one week programme as an observer at Brigham and women’s hospital, Boston. Dr. Arjun also specialises in the treatment of portal hypertension and chronic liver disease-related complications.
He is passionately intent on advancing the field of interventional radiology at AIG Hospitals through the early adoption of emerging minimally invasive image-guided therapies. Dr. Arjun has attended multiple international conferences in the field of interventional radiology including being one of the few in the country to attend the annual course on Transarterial radioembolization at San Francisco in 2020 (SIR Y90 2020 ).
