Research @ AIG

Innovation is our tradition: Upgrading regularly to meet the healthcare needs.

Obesity is a growing epidemic with multiple problems in biology and social life. Our doctors and basic scientists conduct research on broad range of areas related excess weight gain, including the causes, effects, preventions and treatment of obesity and related conditions.

As obesity is mainly caused by the way people eat and live, we are conducting study on food addiction, sleep patterns and use of smartphone devices in students doing professional courses. This research will give us idea about preventive strategies for obesity.

Our multi-disciplinary team provides excellent platform for studying the causes and treatment of obesity. They are also working on innovative ways to manage excess weight by research on endoscopic methods of weight loss. You can inquire about any ongoing studies in this area from one of the team members.
